God is expanding our understanding of the “7 spheres of influence” (Ed Delph, "Church@Community") to a new level that explains these as the “7 mountains of culture” (Bill Bright and Loren Cunningham). These seven spheres or mountains that impact society and culture are: commerce, family, education, media, arts and entertainment, government, and religion. Our calling as ministers in the marketplace is to transform these mountains and establish God's Kingdom.

At the top of each cultural “mountain” is a gateway and those who control the gate are positioned to be significant influencers, thus, exercising a measure of direction for that “mountain.” In order to truly impact and transform all spheres of influence, the Body of Christ must rise up and re-possess these gateways of culture. The gateways must be protected and defended by leaders operating in biblical principles and standards. Only then will we truly see godly transformation – built on a foundation of righteousness and truth – of communities, cities and nations.

For over twenty years CIBN has been dedicated to teaching, training, and activating the Body of Christ to walk in natural and spiritual authority – functioning as kings and priests unto God and influencing their respective realms of influence. CIBN is a Christ-Influenced, Community-Impacting Business Network and our chapters are a vehicle for our members to gather and make strategic and tactical plans to work with, support, and serve their local community leaders. We believe that God has positioned each of us, operating in our own sphere of influence, taking dominion of our own cultural mountain, to operate as change agents for His Kingdom. Chapters impact their local communities bringing to bear positive transformation one city, one state, one nation at a time.
Members of CIBN have a passion for advancing the Kingdom of God on the earth. As we network with like-minded men and women of God and work in unity, we see cultural change manifested.
